So while switching to a healthier diet isn't easy, the benefits are definitely worth it. Eating foods that are good for you and staying physically active can help you reach and maintain a healthy weight and improve your mood. You may also find that moving more and eating better could help you keep up with the demands of your busy life and be there for the people who depend on you. And I'm perfectly aware that what I do (going on an intensive diet every time I gain too much weight) is bad, and I've done my research and know the consequences, but fixing it isn't worth it in my experience.

However, I understand, it's not very convenient to sit down every week and plan what you're going to eat, then buy the ingredients, then prepare them and create meals for you and your family.

I prefer to be able to eat as I normally do and stop eating for a week or two if I gain too much weight. I know that not eating is stupid, it's something I would rather do for a week and have a good weight for a month or two than give up junk food and go on a diet. For example, almost everyone I know (including me) has a birthday between August and November, and I'm not going to miss the opportunity to have a good night with them just because a week ago it was my other friends' birthday, nor am I going to watch what I eat at a damn party.
